Cancellations made more than 60 days from check-in date will receive a 100% refund of the deposit paid or the option of a credit, which is valid for one year from cancellation date.
Cancellations made between 60 and 31 days from check-in date will receive a 70% refund of the deposit paid or the option of a credit, which is valid for one year from the cancellation date. Cancellations made between 30 and 10 days from the check-in date will receive a 30% refund of deposit paid. Cancellations made less than 10 days from the check-in date will forfeit the deposit paid.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time will receive a 100% refund of the deposit paid. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to pick-up will forfeit the deposit paid.

CASA CHACHALACA

Casa Chachalaca is located 2 km outside of the town of Tulum in a new developing area called La Veleta. It is situated in a rural setting surrounded by tropical jungle where you can view an amazing array of tropical birds feeding in the trees.

We have four fully furnished apartments available with a second floor 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite, a ground floor 3 bedroom 2 bathroom garden condo and two 1 bedroom 1 bathroom which are located next door to Casa Chachalaca in a condominium complex called Che 721. Enjoy these beautiful accommodations perfect for those with extended stays. We offer free WiFi in our accommodations.

Casa Chachalaca is built around the concept of simple living. We try to reduce our use of energy by using LED lights and using the least amount of electrical appliances. We have a MOKA and French Press as coffee makers in the kitchens. You can enjoy a nice BBQ in the garden or read a book gently swinging in your porch hammock. The building has a solar water heater and with all of our sun the water is perfectly hot. It works great! We use a natural septic system, a biodigester, so we only use biodegradable products on the premises, absolutely no harsh chemicals. We recycle and have compost bins for each apartment. We want to promote sustainable tourism so that generations to come can enjoy Tulum too!
