Playa Mambo - Tulum Beach

Playa Mambo (Tango), a place inspired in the Mayas construction; which its main objective was merging the characteristics of nature, from Tulum, with the cities commodities.

It managed to combine autochthonous and rustic materials, such as sea shells, wood and stones with modern elements. We were able to create a balance that represents us; using it as the main source of inspiration while building the hotel.

We count with 8 ecologic suites on the beach; where some are facing the sea, have private terraces and wooden decks. As for accommodations, each room is set up with hot water, electricity and king sized beds with silk and cotton sheets.

Moreover, the hotel offers a Beach Club, a Deli and two grills, which are used exclusively by the hotel serving Argentinean barbeques, fish, shell fish and lobsters. The hotel also proposes weddings on the beach, long nights under the stars and private dinners.

Playa Mambo (Tango) is a place where the owners are happy to get involved with the guests requests, prioritizing each of their needs and always trying to improve their lifestyle quality, starting from the ecological harmony of the environment.

I stayed here January 2009 with my boyfriend. It was fantastic. The food was done to perfection, the staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and the setting is beautiful. The cabana's are spotless and well kept. The sand is soft like powder and it is raked daily so it always looks pristine. Tulum is the place to stay in Mexi... More
