Mayan Ceremony -

A local Mayan Shaman will be present to infuse your ceremony with his own special blend of ancient Mayan mysticism and wisdom. Prior to the ceremony, the area is cleansed by the Shaman at the four cardinal points, using the sacred smoke from the Copal tree and the blowing of the ritual conch shell horn.
For this wedding, Mayan traditions are quite important.
The ceremony takes place before the universal energy and consists of presenting the bride and groom to seven directions; up to the superior cosmic energy (masculine), down to the Mother Earth (feminine), to the four winds (north, south, east, west) using the Mayan order and names, to the guardians of the location where the ceremony is held, and inside to the center of their own hearts, the temple of love.
