"Favorite place to stay"

We love staying at Tierras del Sol. Carlos and the staff are wonderful host and the cabanas are great. They are very clean and have limited lighting at night, which we love. There is no phone, no TV, no air conditioning and no worries. I can relax immediately sitting on the deck of one of the cabanas below the palm trees, looking out over the white sand and blue ocean. They serve a very good breakfast menu, but lunch and dinner are limited, though we like that because we enjoy taking a short drive into Tulum Pueblo for dinner. There is a very ecclectic Mayan feel to the dining palapa and the cabanas. The grounds are lush and very well kept and they usually have a nice selection of boogie boards, snorkels and fins for the guest to use. The beach location is one of the best of the area I think. It is on the southern end of the beach road, near the Biosphere entrance, so a short walk south and your away from everything. Walk north on the beach and you can visit all the beach hotels and bars at your leisure. This will be our fourth year back to Tierras del Sol.
